GPS for Success

What We Do

MLMP’s programs continue to impact our future generations as we strive to motivate and inspire youth on how to handle the many challenges they find themselves faced with. Many schools use this curriculum during their drug and alcohol awareness week; however, GPS for Success differs by NOT focusing on telling the youth NOT to do drugs, but instead, establish and maintain a mentoring relationship with the students in order to open the line of communication and develop trust!

What We Offer

The GPS for Success 5 week interactive program is part of My Life My Power®, a 501(c)3 non-profit. The GPS for Success program is available in an online format or hard copy to different age groups: K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-12th.

Our Purpose

By focusing on establishing and maintaining a strong mentoring relationship with your students, you will find that you can open the line of communication while developing trust and a connection, without having to focus on the topic of drugs. Our proven approach takes place over the course of five weeks in which teachers are provided with age-appropriate materials, handouts, and activities to do with their students. With this easily implemented, multi-faceted and whole child approach, we help empower your students and/or youth to be more intrinsically driven, focused in life, equipped to work through life’s challenges, and committed to staying drug free!

Our Partnership

Partnerships Creating Impactful Results.

In 2019, MLMP has partnered with AC-HIDTA (Atlanta Carolina’s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas) and ONDCP (Office of National Drug Control Policy- The White House) to offer this FREE to schools in GA, NC and SC. During the summer of 2019, MLMP trained Educators, law enforcement, and community members on GPS for Success and how to implement it in schools and communities. We are also partnering with faculty members from the William & Mary School of Education who serve as external evaluators of the program to help study its effectiveness. We are committed and excited to empower our youth and communities with our GPS for Success Program!

Life Changing Experiences. Impactful Results.
