How My Life My Legacy is making a difference…In 2017, the My Life My Legacy curriculum was introduced inside juvenile detention center, Miami Youth Academy. The youth get to write their past, present, and future stories, and are provided the opportunity to share this through speaking, writing, photography, and videography upon release.

Upon his release, Miami Youth Academy graduate, Hoodford Gabriel, decided to continue his journey of story sharing with My Life My Legacy. Today he is sharing his story through videography, photography, and writing. He writes of his past story of poverty, crime, and incarceration, and details his life upon release, and plans for the future. His book, A Chained Mind, will be released in 2018.

My Life My Legacy is excited for the opportunity to allow other youth to use their story to inspire others and live out their legacy to it’s fullest!
