My Life My Power is grateful for any and all types of in-kind donations! No matter what type of donation you have for us, we can guarantee that it will be put to great use by the many youth and young adults that we serve. In-kind contributions are donations of goods, services or time — instead of cash.
Tangible goods include things like equipment, books, cars, real estate, clothing, furniture and supplies. Goods may also be intangible, such as advertising, patents, royalties and copyrights. Goods may be used, surplus, brand new or even loaned.

Foster Care
In our 2017 pilot in Miami, there was an increase among youth in: self-esteem, purpose in life, time management, self-confidence, communication and productivity. The highest increases based on the behavioral and collected data were in the areas of: self-confidence, productivity, and communication/empathy. Based on the statistical data compiled there was an increase among adults in: selfefficacy, empathy, and self-confidence.
Juvenile Justice System
Since 2015, the implementation of the GPS for life program in the Miami Youth Academy has seen significant increase in the areas of: self-esteem and purpose of life. There was also a significant decrease in the areas of: aggression and victimization. The most substantial decrease was in the re-arrest rate which decreased by more than 50% with the students we work with.
P-12 & University Program
Since 2012, MLMP’s GPS For Life curriculum has been in the P-12 educational systems all over the world such as: California, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Texas, Arizona, Georgia and Burundi. Since 2015, GPS For Life has an 8 week credited University course at NOVA South Eastern University. The dropout rate has decreased to less than 1/4of the norm and these students at NSU are staring to become mentos for our other programs.
MLMP Institute
Our Institute is our training platfrom to create the next generation of Black Belt Transformational Mentors with our Training Experiences (white, red, black), This will bennifit P/K-12th Education, University, Law Enforcement, Local/Corporate Business, Politics, Athletics and more to create a new culture within the world.
